1. Big Green London Map – register now and encourage others to 
build the network.
 Have you heard about the Big Green London Map? If not – let us know if you want to ‘put your park on the map’!The work carried out by CPRE London, LFGN and LPGT continues to create a major legacy for London National Park City by growing the Friends of Parks movement and getting as many parks registered on GoParksLondon.   This month we are delighted to welcome onto the list:  Addiscombe Recreation GroundButterfield GreenCanons Park…Walpole Parkand so many more!If you haven’t added

2. Take a look at www.parkscommunity.org.uk for lots of resources to 
support  Friends of Parks

The UK’s green spaces need active Friends’ Groups! This is a new space created by and for such groups to share experiences, info and ideas to become more confident and effective, there’s lots of information coming on this websiteBack to start

3. Survey by the LFGN of London’s Borough Friends of Parks Forums
The LFGN recently carried out a survey to find out which Boroughs in London have forums for their Friends of Parks Groups and how they operated.  Please see the link hereBack to start

4. LFGN meeting dates for your diary  
The LFGN has a number of meetings scheduled for 2020 at City Hall at
6pm to which all Friends of parks and greenspaces groups are invited.
The next meeting for this year is on 21st October.    
And for 2020… * Feb 3rd  Coordination meeting / strategic matters and borough forums reps (conference room 8)  * March 16th  General Meeting / discussion (committee room 2)  * April 27th  Coordination meeting / strategic matters and borough forums reps (conference room 8)  * June 8th   General Meeting / discussion (committee room 2)  * July 20th   Coordination meeting / strategic matters and borough forums reps (conference room 8)
