Parakeets of London

Dear London Friends of Green Spaces,

My name is Elena, I manage the Kensington Gardens Allotment and its volunteers as a partnership between the charity Sustain & Capital Growth and The Royal Parks.

Capital Growth runs a training programme throughout spring and summer, and we moved all our sessions online this year. I was wondering if LFGN could help us spread the word to its audiences and users about a talk coming up with Capital Growth on ‘The Parakeets of London’ – on Wednesday 28 October, 6pm – 7.30pm, online? As parakeets are such a distinctive feature of London Parks, I imagine your audiences might be interested?

The link to book tickets is: https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/parakeets-of-london-tickets-122391641695 – the talk will be published on the Capital Growth training page (https://www.capitalgrowth.org/training/) tomorrow afternoon at the latest, but booking for this particular event is already open.

I have set up a special discount code, where park lovers will get 20% off on the tickets by entering the code ParkFriend (case sensitive) when booking.

Let me know if you have any questions, and do feel free to pass on my email address to members, if they have any questions too.

Thank you very much in advance.

Kind regards,

Elena Trivelli
