Save the Date! London National Park City Fair, Saturday 21st July
The first ever London National Park City Week will be taking place from 21st – 29th July 2018. To kick off the week we are launching our first London National Park City Fair during the day on Saturday 21st July 2018, at Conway Hall, Red Lion Square in the centre of London.
This FREE event will consist of a Volunteering & Experiences fair, and an A-Z Field Guide to London National Park City consisting of 26 short talks introducing fascinating aspects of London and interesting Londoners.
Pop it into your diary now and then come along and be prepared to see London in a different way, and learn how to get involved and make a difference!
An Invitation: Run a Stand at the first National Park City Fair
Are you part of a group, organisation or company that has volunteering opportunities or experiences that you can offer? Something for people to help out with to make a difference, or to try out? Then we’d love to help you showcase your offer as part of our Volunteering & Experiences fair on 21st July.
At the daytime fair we’ll have stands where you can share what you do and what people can get involved in.
Volunteering opportunities that you may offer could include removing plastic from our waterways, helping to protect an endangered place, collecting data for a mental health app, leading a youth group, or finding people with specific skills such as film-making or fund-raising.
Experiences that we may see on offer could include kayaking down the Thames, meeting an owl, trail running, taking part in street art, walking tours and mud-larking!
If you are interested in hosting a stand, you can find out more details and send in your application using over on our online form. But please hurry! The deadline for applications is 31st May 2018.
