The forum speaks with one voice for the parks, gardens and allotments in the borough. This facilitates the running of our parks with idverde, whom the council has contracted out it’s responsibility. They offer expertise, useful advise and training courses.

The friends forum represents over 40 groups of friends, and provides advise and document templates for any people wanting to form new groups. About half of the borough’s green spaces have no friends groups, leaving them vulnerable to being built on.
The forum meets regularly, and the current chair is Larry Herbert, from the Friends of Keston Common.
